Baseline and annual testing available, with audiologist review for all abnormal test results.
Unlike traditional fit testing of PPE(finding the correct size), hearing protection fit testing is educational based aimed at ensuring individuals properly select, inspect, and use hearing protection.
Some conditions can affect an individuals ability to safely wear/use a respirator. If the individual needing a fit test has any of the following conditions, that are currently in an unstable state, we require a medical clearance form to be completed and brought to the appointment:
Individuals showing up for a respirator fit test should ensure they are clean shaven and free of make-up/face skin care products.
Respirator fit test intake forms may be completed at the appointment, but they may also be printed and completed ahead to save time at the appointment.
Individuals showing up for a hearing test shall have 14 hours of quiet time (less than 85 dBA, with or without hearing protection) prior to their appointment. Without 14 hours of quiet time, tests showing hearing loss may or may not be accurate in showing a threshold shift.
Hearing test intake forms may be completed at the appointment, but they may also be printed and completed ahead to save time at the appointment.
Some conditions can affect an individuals ability to safely complete a lung function test. If the individual needing a spirometry test has any of the following conditions, we require a medical clearance form to be completed and brought to the appointment:

Test results may not be accurate if the guidelines listed are not followed, increasing the likelihood of a retest being recommended.
Spirometry test intake forms may be completed at the appointment, but they may also be printed and completed ahead to save time at the appointment.
Individuals showing up for a hearing protection fit test shall have 14 hours of quiet time (less than 85 dBA, with or without hearing protection) prior to their appointment. Without 14 hours of quiet time, fit testing may not show accurate personal annulation.
If the individual coming for the appointment has personal ear muffs or custom molded ear plugs, please have them bring them to the appointment.
